QUALIFICATION TRAINING FOR LIVE LINE WORK
From 06/28 to 07/01/2021, at the invitation of the CTST Company, team members of Ritz accompanied some of the practical parts of the qualification and recycling training given to Cemig distribution's own personnel, using the bare-hand for live line work in transmission lines and substations at a voltage of 138kV.
The course was given by Instructor Marcelo Carvalho, from the CTST training company, through Senai-MG, at the concessionaire's facilities, in the city of Varginha, Minas Gerais, Brazil.
During the training, maintenance tasks in live line were experienced, such as: equipment isolation and maintenance on power transformer (TP) terminal connections, current transformer (TC) terminals and lightning arrester terminals.
The tasks were developed and carried out using equipment supplied by Ritz, such as: saddles and accessories, hot sticks, scaffolding, chair and insulating ladder and the conductive suit set.
Always investing in technical training, Ritz understands that the experience of working in the field is essential for understanding the needs and challenges faced by electric companies and reinforces its commitment to focus on providing quality and safety.
